Changes in the Gtk2 version
- Notebook interface:
instead of loading each list in a separate window. This allows
multiple quicklists and reports in a single window.
- Toolbar:
including some standardisation of the keyboard shortcuts.
- GtkHTML reports: outline
support so far but has great potential for providing reports
customisable with CSS etc.
- Recent File handling: Added a
submenu that lists the recent files opened by QuickList. A few problems with
GnomeVFS still need to be resolved.
- Disabled features: Some features
of the old version of quicklist are not yet stable in the Gtk2 version.
These include creating new reports, filters and customised sort patterns.
The migration has involved rewriting the majority of the old codebase and
it is hoped that these features can be added back during the 0.9.x series
of releases.
